One of the easiest ways over the past year to show people many of the different things you could do with Cascading Style Sheets would be to have them take a look at the CSS Zen Garden.

The site was first launched one year ago today, and to celebrate, its designer is giving us an insight into how he came up with the default template, named Tranquille. Very interesting to see the shaping of Tranquille “in a nutshell,” as Dave Shea calls it.
