Cre8asite Forum’s Ammon Johns is one of the members of the working committee building SMA-UK, a new trade association based in the UK to promote search marketing.

His announcement in the forums today describes so well why this association has many people in the industry excited. Here’s a major part of the reason:

These are not unapproachable people, nor ones who talk and play an entirely different game from the people they hope to represent and support. It is much more the grass-roots foundation that one would expect of a group hoping to answer the grass-roots demand for a trade association.
