Pagerank gets updated every what 4 times a year maybe a few more times. Plus when it is updated the pagerank that is showing could be more than 2 months old.

I think pagerank is a quick indication of a sites popularity but that is it. Some pagerank 2 sites recieve more traffic than a pagerank 4 site.

Even though I believe you shouldn’t get run by pagerank I still can’t help but check all my sites on every update.

I’m an SEO and could care less about PR. My customers don’t know what it is. Since it doesn’t seem to have any efect on my search rankings or traffic… Why bother? Why care?

My PR was ripped from 4 to 2 and I don’t think I can have it back again.. Just make myself wait for another update..

PageRank has always been a somewhat woolly concept and on a day where Youtube has a PageRank of 3 I think even Google is accepting that the whole thing is now nonsense.
