My pet peeve about some news web sites is that sometimes they only offer the story in video format, with no text alternative. To watch it, I have to include the extra time to watch the TV commercial they start off with. This ordeal resembles movie trailers we sit through before the actual feature movie begins.
Some TV shows offer past episodes online. This allows TV viewers to play catch up on their favorites by letting them view shows on their laptops. It’s very handy and affords viewers the choice of when and where to watch the TV shows they love.
Some folks aren’t convinced the future of the Internet should be video oriented. What do think?

I personally hate videos, they are a hassle and I lite to comeback and reread things of interest over and over, and I don’t want to have to rewind the tape to find the spot I want.
Thanks,
JR

I have a computer that I use for looking at web sites after I finish with them, I also use it for watching the news while working so it takes me less time as rather than an article that I have to stop and read which doesn’t get done much. So I think the video feeds are time savers.
