This is Peabody’s blog. Peabody is the Mascot of the Cre8asite Networks, and he got this gig as mascot because he also had some experience as a blogger.

I’m not sure what happened to him, but it might have had something to do with odd behaviour from other logos on the web today. I saw Google’s logo earlier, and it had turned green. I’m guessing that St. Paddy’s Day might have had something to do with it. Peabody would have wanted to give thanks to moderator Black Phoenix for the wonderful shamrock powered logo over at the Cre8asite Forums. Thank you, David.

Peabody was going to pinpoint some threads at the forums such as this one: What Does SEMPO Mean to you. We also talked about using Peabody’s blog to discuss the Cre8asite Resource Library. We hope that people get the chance to find helpful articles there, and submit links to new ones if they think those articles are high quality, helpful resources. And, Peabody should be there most of the time, in case you want to visit with him.

I expect Peabody will eventually make some appearances here too, and he’ll likely share a little with us about his somewhat unusual friends and family. When his desktop is empty, don’t be surprised to see some posts from many of the folks behind the workings of the Cre8asite Network.

There is some sad news from the forums. Moderator Scottie Claiborne, from Right Click Web Consulting, is changing her status to “Guest Star” at the forums, and will no longer be a moderator in the Usability and Writing Copy and Content forums at Cre8asite. She assured us that we will see her smiling face at the forums, and look forward to sharing some conversations with her there.

We’re also going to try to use this blog to start up some conversations with other folks who have blogs on the web.

Kudos to Grumpus for all his hard work in setting up this blog!
