The more the news gets out on a particular issue or injustice the harder it is for people to claim or fain ignorance. The idea presented in the post, that even if people are made aware of issues most of them will not take action to change the situation is a good point. However if we consider that 1 in 1,000 people who hear about an injustice will be moved to act, then change is a matter of helping another thousand hear the message.
