And we’re live…

image

It’s still Saturday in most parts of the world, and our move has been successfully completed. If you are seeing the new forums, you should be seeing a large “Crea8site has moved” message on the front page. If you are still seeing our previous message, you may need to wait a bit longer for your ISP to catch up with the move.

If you notice any bugs, or anything you think is out of the ordinary, we’d like to hear about it. This thread in our Forum Issues forum is a good place to raise anything.

Move in progress

image

Here’s our first server move update - the move is well underway, and thanks to Michael (projectphp)’s work, the forum database has been migrated to the new server. Michael and I have been ironing out the errors, and it’s now ready to go!

A few new posts that were made after about 3pm Friday (GMT) may have been lost - which unfortunately there isn’t anything we can do about.

cre8asiteforums.com will soon be redelegated to the new server, and as soon as the big forum move message has disappeared (i.e. as soon as the redelegation has propagated), you’re free to start posting.

Cre8asite Forums - We’re selling

After two and half years of operation, Kim and her team are selling up the empire they’ve built. Cre8asite Forums is up for sale, as of Friday 1st April 2005.

Changes are taking place to make the forums an attractive buy for anyone wishing to enter the market, as administrator Bill Slawski announced today. The changes include renaming of many of the forums, a new text colour, and military style ranks for posters.

While this is a sad time for Kim and her team, it is surely an answer to prayers for anyone wishing to get started in the SEO Forum market. Offers can be e-mailed to the administration team at admin@cre8asite.net. No serious offers will be rejected.
