My biggest problem is not checking IE before launching changes online, this has gotten me in trouble a few times. I would say that overall FF and now Chrome will challenge IE dominance online as time goes on. I think that Microsoft has their hands full in beating off the competition and I hope that we see better programs come out as a result of that competition.

Why would I even use IE if there are so many other great browsers out there? Actually, let me rephrase this. I only need the one browser and it is certainly NOT Windows explorer.

The question could be "Why should I use the Win OS?" as well. If you run under Linux, then there is no fear from MIE.

OK, so let's imagine that no-one uses the Win OS. Then there would be no MIE, and many cross-browser compatibility problems would disappear. As just one example I'd like to point videos. Browsers (with proper plugins) other than MIE will show them naturally with proper XHTML coding. Again, MIE has troubles with valid coding here. Why? Because of Microsoft.
