A great debate is taking place in Cre8asiteforums on social media, social networking, human behavior, societal change and whether “awareness” is mistaken for actual change.”
Ruud Hein starts off the Opinion: Media, Social Or Not, Does Not Cause Change by referring to how the latest Iranian political situation is being communicated “live” via Twitter.
Some of the discussion:
I repeated a story I’d heard on the news about an elderly couple who were spending the night on their roof when the quakes started. They struggled to hold hands and keep from being separated as their building pancaked, but after the quake the husband was left to tell the tale and the wife had slipped out of his grasp and been swallowed by rubble. I told him it brought tears to my eyes.

One way to get people to notice you is to offer to interview them. I was referred to the Wildfire Marketing Group by a good friend who suggested me as prospect for their Thought Leader interview series.
The interview, Thought Leader Thursday – Kim Krause Berg, ran today. It’s not real long. The topic is usability and seo. While there, you may enjoy the other interviews they posted.

I was alerted the other day about a way to customize the WP Greetbox to be used for targeted ad placement by the author of Turn WP Greet Box Into Your Own Targeted Ad Program.
I decided to take a look and ended up adding it to mine and a client’s blog. I didn’t customize for ad placement but did mess around with settings to create custom greetings. For some reason, I couldn’t get it to render properly on my blog but it worked gracefully on my client’s site. Both are Thesis themes. I removed mine until I have time to figure out what happened.

Cre8asiteforums Moderator, Ruud Heim, was interviewed recently by Gab Goldenberg, in one of the most delightful interview presentations I’ve ever read. For starters, Ruud Hein: “How I Stay Ahead of The SEO Pack” is loaded with photos of Ruud in action.
I’m envious of his big chair. His advice has led me to beg for my own dual monitor setup for my birthday (Eric came through, yay!).
17,000 photos?

Comedy, laughter, is an amazing thing. It’s a real, freaking miracle. You don’t see ants roll on their back from sheer laughter… I suspect dogs smile though…

In case you haven’t read about it yet, Cre8asiteforums has a wee bit of news. Self-taught, self-employed working mom and forums owner and founder, Kim Krause Berg, earns #30 spot in top 200 Winners Circle in national business contest.
Read about it in “Supermom Succeeds” and check out the Rock Band drums behind me and my bare feet. So professional!
I did wear my “Zen Mom” shirt, in honor of my Internet Marketing friends who love it and Li Evans, who gave the shirt its name.
